Soaring Micro Award
(Under 4 Years)
This category is for the Micro Business running for up to Four years. We are looking to recognise sole operator businesses that are developing their business/concept all on their own. These business owners have no permanent or part-time employees, however, may utilize online contractors.
Who should enter this award? - This category is for a sole trader, Someone who works alone in their business, a micro business who works with contractors or entirely on their own. Ideal for bloggers, consultants, copywriters, therapists, Home-based businesses.
This category is for the best small business of the year with up to 5 years trading. The business must have been operating a maximum of 5 years as of 2018. This award recognises businesses that are already climbing mountains despite still being relatively new.
Who should enter this award? This category is for a small business in any industry who is approaching or up to 5 years of trading at the time of entering.
Soaring Solo Award
(5 Years Plus)
This category is for the Micro Business who have been operating five years or more and has stayed small by choice. We are looking to recognise sole operator businesses that are doing it all on their own, but are already at the top of their game and soaring solo!
Who should enter this award? - This category is for a sole trader, a micro business who works with contractors or entirely on their own. They must have been operating for five years or more and has chosen to stay solo within their business model. Ideal for Online influencers, bloggers, consultants, copywriters, therapists.
Through the Woods Award
This category is for the best business of the year with 5+ years trading under their belt. The business must have been operating for a minimum of 5 years as of 2018. This award targets established businesses that have been through the woods and aims to recognise those who are now reaching even greater heights, given their experience and established track record.
Who should enter this award? This category is for small business who have been trading a minimum of 5 years trading at the time of entering the awards.
The Change Maker Award

This is an award for a groundbreaker business, a smasher of boundaries. It looks to recognise a person challenging the status quo and making exciting changes in their industry, business or for their cause.
Who should enter this award? This category is for someone who is challenging the status quo. A person/team who is demonstrating innovation is doing things differently than what has been done before in their field.
Business Excellence Award
This award is for any business or organisation that has made significant advancement, growth, change or renewal in the past 18 months.
The Business can be of any size. Must be able to demonstrate growth or change from before and after
Who should enter this award? This category is a business that has achieved something. It might be a startup who has had escalated growth or a breakthrough, a team that is committed to excellence in its industry.
Two Peas Partnership Award
An award for a couple or a partnership in small business, who have been in business together for 3+ years of 2018. This pair/group have been through highs and lows together, have built a business from the ground up. They have put everything on the line for what they believe in and have been challenged and tested in their small business experience.
Who should enter this award? This category is for your local hubby & wife team, or friends/colleagues who hold a partnership in business, minimum 3 years trading, in any industry. Nominate a business you know or the business can enter themselves.
Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award
This category is for the best Young person who has started their own business or enterprise. We are looking to recognise an individual[s] under 34 that have started their own business, developed an idea and are well on their way to success
Who should enter this award? This category is for a young entrepreneur under 34. Young startups, established business and partnerships are welcome to enter and should be under 34 as of January 2019
On My Way Award
This category is best new business or start-up business. A new business that has been operating under two years (as of January 2019)
Who should enter this award? This category is for any new business that has begun trading from December 1st 2016
